Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak-5663m)

While we make a short trek into the Annapurna Sanctuary we can also attempt Tharpu Chuli Peak climbing. With the upraised south face of Annapurna, we climb to the northwest ridge of the peak. This is the best trip for climbing a peak in the Himalayas in the shortest timeframe. It is technically easy, but challenging peak. The excitement and pleasure of the ascent as we trek along the rich and fertile Modi Khola with its tumbling cascades and high water falls and through the colorful Gurung villages will be a lifetime experience. From the submit you will have amazing views of Machupachari, Annapurna I, II, III and IV & Hiunchuli.

 
  Itinerary

Day 01:

Arrival Kathmandu & transfer to hotel

Day 02:

Preparation day for permit and other arrangements.

Day 03:

Drive to Pokhara (5-6 hrs).

Day 04:

Drive to Suikhet & trek to Pothana

Day 05:

Pothana - New bridge

Day 06:

New Bridge - Khuldighar

Day 07:

Khuldighar - Himalayan hotel

Day 08:

Himalayan - Machapuchhere BC

Day 09:

Machapuchhere BC - Annapurna BC

Day 10:

Accimatization day

Day 11:

Annapurna BC - Tharpu Chuli BC

Day 12:

Tharpu Chuli High

Day 13:

Attempt to summit

Day 14:

Tharpu Chuli High - Summit & back to BC

Day 15:

Base Camp - Machapuchhere

Day 16:

Machhapuchhre BC - Himalayan l

Day 17:

Himalayan Hotel - Chomorong

Day 18:

Chomorong - Tadapani

Day 19:

Tadapani - Ghorepani

Day 20:

Ghorepani - Birethati

Day 21:

Birethati - Pokhara

Day 22:

Drive to Kathmandu

Day 23:

Free day in Kathmandu.

Day 24:

Transfer to airport for onward journey

 

Above itinerary can be customized according to your interest and timeframe.

Note: Tharpu Chuli peak climbing trip can be organized in full-boarded camping style if you are not interested to do the trip combined with teahouse and full-boarded camping.
