The breathtaking trans-Himalayan flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa and the overland route from Lhasa to the Nepal border offer truly spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks, mountain passes, ancient monasteries, fortresses and the people and culture of a bygone era. The trip can either be a fly in/drive out combination or a drive in/fly out one, depending on personal preference. All the tours offer hotel accommodation in one of three categories - Deluxe, Economy or Budget - depending on personal choice, and are hosted at 3 star hotels.
