While making a short trek into the Annapurna Sanctuary one can also attempt the Tharpu Chuli Peak ascent. This is the best trip to climb a Himalayan peak in the shortest timeframe. The excitement and pleasure of the approach as one treks along the rich and fertile Modi Khola with its tumbling cascades and high waterfalls, and through the colorful Gurung villages is a lifetime experience.

Tharpu Chuli is a technically easy, but challenging peak. The ascent is made up the northwest ridge of the mountain. From the summit one can enjoy amazing views of Machhapuchhare, Annapurna I, II, III and IV and Himchuli.
