Fixed Departure Tibet Tours
This is an adventure trip for travelers on a limited time & budget. The breathtaking trans-Himalayan flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa & the overland route from Lhasa to Nepal border offers truly spectacular views of the Himalayas, high mountains passes, ancient monasteries, fortresses & a people & culture of a bygone era. The trip is scheduled fly in / drive out or drive in / fly out depending on situation. All the tours are based in 3 star hotel categories as per the interest & budget of the travelers (Deluxe, Economic, Budget). Our group generally tends to be smaller & we make every effort to provide quality services at very reasonable prices.
» 18 Days Pilgrimage trip to Mansasarovar and the Holy Mt. Kailash (Drive in/Drive out)
Mt. Kailash claimed to be the pinnacle of the Hindu religious conglomeration is one of the highest mountains in Tibet at 22,022 feet and Lake Mansarovar at 14,950 feet is said to be the highest fresh water lake in the world. It is a difficult region to access due to the variable and extreme weather conditions. Road conditions are difficult much of the time, while driving and we have to make much preparation to ensure that we have a reasonable chance of reaching Kailash. We need to bring our own food and camping equipment. As per Chinese immigration policy, transportation (4WD jeep) and a Chinese/Tibetan guide is a must to hire from China/Tibet whereas we send our Nepalese staff for camping and cooking arrangements. All the camping/kitchen gears and food supplies need to be brought from Nepal. The Nepalese kitchen crew prepares different cuisines of choice for the travelers. While traveling to this part of the world will have a chance to encounter nomads herding their sheep or yaks
